About

This should be the only page that will talk about the website itself.
I intend on publishing a variety of things that I produce: writings, code, pictures, videos, programs, music, sounds, games. Any art form that I find myself exploring.
This website is stitched together from a collection of markdown files and HTML template files by a generator I created. Currently, said generator is written as a shell script but I have the intention to replace it with a program I will write in a familiar compiled language (likely C).
Purpose
My primary motivation for creating this website is as a place to publish my creative output. I have kept most of my works private up until this point in my life.
I have started to become aware that my ratio of consumption to creation is far unbalanced in favor of consumption and that does not sit well with me. The only way I see myself obtaining an output that is of any value to humanity is by continuing to create as much as possible.
I believe I could also benefit socially from at least writing about what I spend so much of my time doing. I struggle with having an engaging conversation and I am infatuated with those that express such excitement in topics of their own interest, even if I do not share the same interest to persue it myself. I want to be someone I would be so engrossed with hearing from.
I have isolated myself willingly for so long. If I gain contacts through this endeavor, I wouldn't complain.
Navigation
Links are formatted as either internal, meaning they stay on this website and open in the same tab, or external, meaning they point to another website and attempt to open in a new tab.
Currently the structure of this website is intentially shallow, meaning there is never more than one explorable subdirectory of depth. This has lead me to just reference those subdirectories at the top of every page at all times. My initial reaction to having an explorable directory on every page is that it would be a fun feature, but I don't know how that would be integrated as far as an interface and would not currently be utilized.
